Welcome to my personal website, which is a place for me to informally share some of my random interests.  When I started researching my family tree many years ago, my original purpose for having a website was simply to share my family tree.  This website has become more general in purpose over time, and now includes aspects beyond genealogy, such as photography, music, etc.  British television is one of my addictions, and more specifically, crime and mystery series.  After I added a page dedicated to that, the number of people viewing that page skyrocketed, and it became one of the top results of a Google search.  Listed below are some random and useless facts about me.

• American.  Humble novice in the mastery of nothingness.  Practitioner of the golden rule.  Have some tendencies which are recognized to be anal retentive.

• Anglophile: a lover of most things British.  Hibernophile: a lover of most things Irish.  Skeptophile: a lover of logical thought, skepticism, and critical thinking. 

• Pluviophile: a lover of rain, especially mist, drizzle, and fog.  This goes along with being a warm embracer of most things melancholic, gothic, and dark.

• Highly caffeinated with Starbucks throughout the day.  Responsible and dedicated Guinness enthusiast.  Yes, Guinness does taste better in Ireland.

• Music addict extraordinaire of most genres.  Zero musical talent.  Have been instructed to never sing, under any circumstance, ever.

• Abnormally addicted to genealogy.  Do not descend from anyone close to being remotely famous, but have some famous distant cousins.

• Football enthusiast of both varieties: American (both NFL and NCAA) and British (Premier League).  Rugby?  Occasionally.  Any other sports?  Nah.

• Apple addict.  Both of the technology and granny smith.  Converted from Windows to macOS and never looked back.  Nothing is perfect, just more intuitive.

• And if you haven’t figured it out by now, self-deprecating and aficionado of dry humor (i.e. especially British) and situational humor (i.e. Seinfeld-isms).

For those who might curious, this website is hosted by Wix,  It was designed entirely by me with a minimalist theme, which was Apple inspired.  The typography is via the San Francisco font, which is freely available from Apple for macOS.
