Wife: Zelda Boyd
GENERAL NOTES ON JOHNNIE ELISHA KING: "Johnnie was a coal miner and was injured as a child in the mines and walked for the rest of his life with a stooped back (severely). I've heard. I believe he died of emphysema and black lung caused by his years in the mine. Zelda had tuberculosis and spent 4 years in a sanitorium. She had an incision on her back that never healed up from lung surgery due to the TB. They lived their married lives in Leewood, West Virginia (Cabin Creek)."
