The following photographs were taken during three holidays to Ireland in
October 2006, July 2008, and July 2009. The camera used for the 2006 and
2008 photographs was a Kodak P880 digital camera, which is an 8 megapixel
camera. The camera used for the 2009 photographs was a Sony Cybershot DSC-W170
digital camera, which is a 10 megapixel camera. Click on each photo for

There are over 600 pubs located in the Dublin area, so this is just a small
sampling of some of them. At least to me, one of the most photogenic pubs
is Doheny & Nesbitt, so I have included multiple photos of that pub
from varying angles, etc.

Historic Pubs of Dublin is an entertaining PBS special from 2008, and is available on DVD from
Amazon, Netflix, etc.. It is a 60 minute program hosted by Frank McCourt,
the Pulitzer Prize winning author of Angela's Ashes, etc.
Frank tours many of Dublin's oldest and most historic pubs, obviously sampling
some pints along the way, and provides some general history of Dublin.
Some of the pubs that Frank visits are pictured below.
